Ph: 04 3851929 Charlotte Yates is a professional singer, songwriter and recording artist, who has just released her fifth solo album, Beggar's Choice. Charlotte will take a songwriting workshop on Saturday August 16 open to anyone interested in the 'how to' of songwriting - lyrics, melody, form and function. The workshop is a practical approach to writing a song from scratch. Participants will work in groups. Each group will have written an original song (or at least, most of one) by the end of the workshop. You don't need to be an amazing singer or a wonderful instrumentalist, but you do need to contribute your ideas. Tickets are $25.
